Wednesday, 06. May 2026
Official part: 4pm until 5:30pm
Get together: 5:30pm until 7:00pm
at Standard Chartered Bank AG,
TaunusTurm, Taunustor 1, Floor 15,

The implementation of CRD VI and its associated new requirements, particularly those relating to Article 21c, has given rise to a number of practical and organisational issues for international banks operating in Germany. Many institutions are currently assessing the potential implications for their structures, governance, and operational setup.
Against this backdrop, the IBTF aims to provide participating institutions with a platform on which to share their initial assessments and exchange views, as well as to discuss key issues. The discussion will focus particularly on the perspectives of treasury and business operations within internationally active banks.
Agenda:
- “Outlook from Brussels” – briefing from SCB AG’s Public Affairs lead on latest developments
- Fireside chat / discussions with representatives of multiple banks and the VIB on:
- Implications of Article 21c CRD VI for treasury teams
- Potential implications of Article 21c CRD VI for customers
- Experiences and key challenges encountered in the preparation for Article 21c CRD VI
- Get-together and drinks
Participation in the event is free of charge. For planning purposes, we kindly ask you to register by 22. April 2026.
Places are limited and a calendar invitation will be sent upon confirmation of your registration.
